Auto Club Continues To Offer DMV Services

(LOS ANGELES, Feb. 5, 2008) – The Automobile Club of Southern California is reminding its members that they can visit any of the Auto Club’s 76 offices to conduct most DMV vehicle registration transactions as one of the member benefits which also include travel guides, tour books, maps and trip planning. The Auto Club’s membership of more than six million Southern California residents represents more than half the households in the Southland.

“The Auto Club has been offering vehicle registrations since 1911 as a convenience for its members, and our offices now also assist members with boat and trailer registrations, vehicle title transfers, personalized license plates, out-of-state vehicle transfers, disabled placards, and many other services,” said Pamela Shepherd, the Auto Club’s vice president for district office operations.

In addition to the Auto Club’s weekday DMV and regular service hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at all offices, 42 Auto Club offices throughout Southern California are also open on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and can process DMV transactions on Saturdays as well.
