GuardianTraining.com, through PLAN, Inc., is primarily focused on meeting the ever-expanding education needs of individuals who already have been appointed, or are planning to serve, as court-appointed legal guardians in the state of Florida either as a professional guardian for non-related individuals or as guardian for a family member.
The instructor, National Master Guardian Irene Rausch, and the training curriculum for courses have been approved by the Office of Public and Professional Guardians. And, they meet the training requirements outlined in Florida Statutes Chapter 744.
The In-person 40 hour course is designed to provide individuals with an understanding of the guardianship system and the skills required to perform the duties of the court-appointed guardian.
Continuing education courses are primarily one hour each. They are easy to follow and cover a wide range of topics such as "Should I Take this Case" to "Ethical Dilemmas in Guardianship".
Continuing Education
We offer Florida Professional Guardians Continuing Education Courses that are approved by the office of Public and Professional Guardians. Credit for courses is posted to CEBroker upon successful completion and a certificate of attendance is provided.

In-Person Training
The Initial 40 hour guardianship training course is conducted four times a year in Pasco County, Florida. The course is taught on 5 Saturdays that begin promptly at 8:00am and end at 5:00pm.
